Many years ago the Lord placed in our hearts the desire to provide a place for refreshing, a retreat, a place where people could go to be alone with God. Growing up in a pastor's home, I understood the need for a "get-away" - a place where couples, pastors and their wives, missionaries, ministers, etc. could get away and be refreshed. This is in the mountains around Gore, OK. 92 acres, completely tree covered, will provide a place for marriage retreats, prayer retreats, Praise and Worship retreats, couples "get-aways", seminars, etc. It is only 3 miles from Lake Tenkiller, 4 miles from the Arkansas River, less than 1 mile from the Illinois River. The grounds is called "Jubilee Mountain". There will be trails for hiking and a creek that flows through the grounds will provide water for a pond. Of course this will mean development, construction of buildings and excavating the land. We are excited about what God is doing through Jubilee Life Ministries.
